Have you ever heard of Ioana Vivisenco? She is an indie Pop singer who’s ready to fill the world with her music. She was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania and now she is 24 year old writing and singing her music, some may say that it’s a little bit too late to try breaking through the music industry, however for Ioana Vivisenco it’s never too late.

Her first single “Blood” released on Oct. 2019, she said “Blood is about an ended relationship in which I invested ton of emotion and care, but it ended… nothing unconventional, it happens sometimes”.

I asked her if that’s what made her to write songs in the first place, she answered “I had many attempts before this first single but they failed, I wasn’t happy with anything I wrote. But ‘Blood’ has a powerful emotion behind and the lyrics can tell the same”. This moment I understood that Ioana writes her songs from her soul, her songs are emotional and delivering messages in them.

After releasing “Blood” she has released “Pieces of Sun” and “No Indulgence”.

I wanted to interview Ioana Vivisenco when I found her voice and her songs very powerful, they touched me.

Thereafter I asked “when will be your next release out? What’s it name and what is it about?”, she knows how to keep her audience curious about it by answering “the date and name are a surprise, the song is about the relation between me and my body. The single will be released on this month (Nov. 2020) so stay tuned!”.

My last question to her was “if you sing and write the songs then who produces your music?” – “I do. And my friend Victor Mihăilescu helps me with recording, mixing and mastering”.

Ioana Vivisenco got my attention and I hope it can get yours either.
